dc.description.abstract Talking QR codes is a Disability Mainstreaming Initiative which is developed and created by Dedan Kimathi University Library Staff. It is an innovative way of providing information resources via QR codes. Documents of different formats are converted to audio formats and then uploaded to the Cloud. The audio formats can then be streamed online once the QR Code is scanned using a smart device. The talking QR codes can be not only be used by persons with disabilities but also by anyone who knows how to use a smart mobile phone device. en_US
